Steve Pyle – Directional Leader
Steve’s claim to fame is that he is the lead vocal for the former Governor of Arkansas, Mike Huckabee’s band, Capitol Offense. Â They’ve opened for some sweet has been bands like 38 Special and even some still cool bands like Willie Nelson and Charlie Daniels…Â Also, Steve shook hands with Chuck Norris and survived.
Steve has been in full time ministry since 1992. As the Directional Leader, he climbs the tree and guides our leaders in the direction he feels God is leading us. Steve believes that in order to keep from becoming just another religious institution full of hypocrites, we must first admit that we are all “screwed up” people in need of Jesus.
Jeremy Celentano – Connection
This dude is a good friend. Turns out he’s not really Italian, he just says that to impress people. He’s got smarts real good and keeps us up to date on the latest and greatest in technologies and collaboration – you’d think Google and Apple own this guy the way he touts their products!
Jeremy and his wife Janie moved from California almost 2 years ago. Jeremy’s role is all about helping people connect. If you want to join or start a small group, he is your man. He is also the guy who coordinates most things involving relationship. He likes to meet new people, so be sure to introduce yourself to him.
Jon Ashcraft – Media
Jon is responsible for all things technical like media, web, and technical stuff. He is the manager of the Department of Redundancy Department. If you want to find him on the weekend, just turn in a circle looking for someone who is taller than everyone else. If you don’t see him, he’s either gone or backstage. Or he might be sitting down.
Jon is a rare blend of analytical and creative genius that if focused and honed, could probably take over the world. Luckily for us, he has a wife and 4 kids that keep him from having the time for world domination.
Thomas Hale – Administrative
Blah, blah, blah, bl
ah, blaaaaah, blah. That is what most people hear when Thomas’s job is described. While everyone else gets bored with number crunching, spread sheets and flow-sheets, Thomas dreams of these things while he sleeps. He loves overseeing our finances and empowering the creative staff to do what they do best.
Best known as youth pastor to Steve, Jon, Cary and a bunch of others around here, Thomas has returned to his Arkansas roots and is our wonderful Admin guy. Thomas also owns a local indoor skate-park. Loving local skateboarders, isn’t just a business, it’s a ministry.
Cary McVay – Children
This guy can quote like 73.5% of the Bible. Also he rides a dirt bike. This guy has a Mac computer on his desk that is bigger than he is. His name is Cary “Mac,” but he is Pastor Cary, so he is also “PC.” Must be a dual boot kinda guy.
He is passionate about teaching our kid’s all about Jesus. To some up his goal in his ministry in two words… “Creating Disciples.”
Jeremy Huddleston – Youth  & Worship
He’s got really long, cute hair. He plays drums also. If you need someone to replace the windows in your house, he’s your guy.
One time when he first came onto the staff, he made a lot of jokes about our staff. So he’s probably sweating reading this bio right now! Such power.
Self described as “lighting designer, sound technician, student director, worship coordinator, bad in a good way drummer, and all around great guy,” this guy does it all.  On top of that, he is humble.
Richard Haley – Facilitator & Maintenance
Richard is the the ultimate handyman… if you want to check out his work, just come in to the church sometime during the week. You can find a little trail of tools, sawdust and sometimes sweat leading right to him. Is that TMI?
If you can’t find him here, he is probably saving lives as a paramedic or catching every fish in Lake Dardanelle.
